Dinosaur Tales Clothing Co. is a very small, online, children's boutique. We offer modern, trendy, age appropriate designs for your children at a price you'll absolutely love. All of our products are carefully made with ethically sourced products and using only fair trade hands. We pride ourselves on these two things. We are a very small team, and our turn-around time is not the same as you will receive from a big-box company. However, all of our products are made by hand with love and care, and are always worth the wait.
We produce low quantities to not over saturate the market, thus keeping your littles dressed in original styles.
What is the quality of your products?
We pride ourselves on using only quality materials that we clothe our own children in. Our products are stretchy, soft, and so comfortable. Our products are generally made from cotton, but there are exceptions.
What is the processing time on my order?
Our processing time for most products is roughly five to ten business days due to sheer volume. We accept no changes, address modifications, cancellations, order alterations, or otherwise after your order has been placed.
Do you have a pick-up location?
We do not offer local pick-up at this time due to the current global health crisis.
Where do you ship from?
We will generally ship from our (very small) manufacturing center located overseas. This is to ensure that we can keep our product quality high and our prices as affordable as possible. We do source our own materials, and once made, we have them shipped directly to our clients. Delivery is generally three weeks, however there can be delays due to customs, holidays, weekends, large drops/sales, natural disasters, or other reasons completely out of our hands. We offer free shipping on all orders. We also may ship from our British Columbia location at times, this is typically done only on pre-orders.
How can I find out about shipping delays?
You are encouraged to join our VIP Group on Facebook in order to stay up to date with current delays. We are currently experiencing a backlog at Canadian customs.
How do I track my order?
Our new system is automatic, and you will receive an email with a link once your item has crossed the border and has entered Canada (or your current country). Once you receive your tracking number, you will be able to track your order until delivery. If you have received a Canadian tracking number, you will likely receive this number early, as this is an expedited shipping option. You will only begin to see updates once your item has entered Canada, and it will read "A shipping label has been created", this generally means delivery is only a few days away.
What is your return policy?
We love our products, and you should too! If you are not satisfied with your products, we will always accept returns on unworn products. Please include original packaging when returning. If there is a flaw in your product, please contact us right away at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can issue a replacement. If you're returning an item due to your error, or an issue out of our control (ie: postal service, customs, purchased the wrong size/item, etc), you will be responsible for return shipping as there was no initial shipping cost. If you are returning an item due to our error, we will cover the cost of shipping.
What are the care instructions?
Our products are pre-shrunk, however as they are generally almost always cotton, we do recommend washing in cold water and hang drying. This will keep the colors vibrant and bold, as well. They do tumble dry okay, but hang drying will ensure that they stay in like-new condition until your child outgrows them. Cotton can shrink in hot temperatures.
How can I become a brand rep?
We are not currently seeking brand reps as our spring rep search has closed. Keep an eye out for the next brand rep search!
